Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR)
After the flue gas passing through the boiler, injecting ammonia into the flue gas to mix well, when the mixed gas passing through the SCR catalyst layers, the flue gas will be decomposed to N2 and O2, can reduce NOx content well done.
Electrostatic Precipitator (EP)
The one stage EP, an electric corona discharge ionizes the air around the electrodes, which then ionizes the particles in the air stream. The air stream flows horizontally through the spaces between the wires, and then passes through the stack of plates.
A negative very high voltage is applied between wire and plate. If the applied voltage is high enough, The ionized particles, due to the electrostatic force, are diverted towards the grounded plates. Particles build up on the collection plates and are removed from the air stream. All the collected particles and ash can be treated by Fly Ash System for recycles.
Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD)
Wet type FGD, using the alkalinity from sea water to absorb the SOx of the flue gas, to take off Sulfur from the flue gas, can reduce SOx well done.
